In May 2016, Samantha (“Sam”) Samolu joined the RIA Advisors team as the Client Service Administrator. In her new role with the company, Sam’s responsibilities include managing the “onboarding” lifecycle program for the firm’s new clients. She enables a smooth transition for our new clients, providing assistance for establishing new online personal accounts and other services. In addition, Sam provides project assistance to RIA Advisors, researches cost basis information and handles other administrative functions. She supports RIA Advisors goal of client satisfaction through her direct contacts with clients, vendors and our employees.
Sam brings over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. In October 2014, on a leap of faith to advance her career, she relocated from Raleigh, North Carolina to Houston. Her financial experience includes working with Fidelity Investments, where she served as a Customer Resolution Manager.
As a first generation American of parents from Liberia, Sam graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh with a B.A. degree. She recently completed her MBA in Corporate Finance at Walden University.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys attending professional and college games. She also volunteers for the American Heart Association’s Annual Heart Walk. Sam previously has served as a volunteer for the Salvation Army to assist children from low socio-economic areas and for the Angel Tree program during Christmas.
