Danny Ratliff

Sr. Financial Advisor, CFP®, ChFC®

Danny is a native Houstonian who has worked in the financial services industry for the last 13 years, beginning with Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Investments. The last 10 years he was a Private Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. where he and his team were responsible for managing over $200 million in assets and helping generations of families reach their financial goals.

Danny received a Bachelors in General Business Administration with a minor in Management from Sam Houston State University. He continued his education at Rice University completing his Certified Financial Planner® Education and shortly thereafter passed the two-day exam to attain the rights to be a Certified Financial Planner®.

Danny also completed the necessary work to become a Chartered Financial Consultant, (ChFC®.) Both designations are arguably the most thorough, sought-after and prestigious in the financial planning world. He is currently working on completing the Retirement Income Certified Professional®.

Danny lives in Spring with his wife Michelle, and their 3 children: Abigail, James and Joseph (and their two dogs and frog). As a native Houstonian, Danny and his family love all things Houston and enjoy attending major sporting events, participating in triathlons and most importantly spending time with family and friends. The Ratliff’s are members of The Woodlands United Methodist Church and spend time working with numerous charities.

A word from Danny:

The best part of my job is getting to know my clients on a personal level where I can fully understand their financial needs, as well as immediate and long-term goals. I believe my role as an advisor is only one-half of a team. This is truly a partnership and I enjoy helping my clients stay disciplined and meet their goals. When I think of what’s most important in my responsibilities of this partnership, it’s trust, integrity and truly understanding the individual needs of each family. Without those two qualities, success wouldn’t be possible. Life throws a lot of curve balls and my job is to help clients either adapt or stay the course.
