Devoda served in the United States Army as a 25Q, multichannel transmission systems operator, stationed in Hawaii. From 2010 to 2011, he completed a tour to Iraq for Operation New Dawn. Later, he was promoted to sergeant. Shortly afterwards, he graduated with an AA in General Studies and honorably discharged.
In 2018, he graduated from the University of Houston (go COOGS!) with a BBA in Finance and a certificate in Personal Financial Planning. His curiosity and love for learning lead him to embark on attaining a master’s degree at his alma mater. In 2020, he graduated with an MS in Finance and a certificate in Real Estate.
He is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with wide range of industry knowledge and professional experience. He has worked with households from affluent to ultra-high-net-worth.
In his spare time, he is a proud father. Also, he enjoys being active, traveling, and music related activities. Also, he volunteers for the Houston Food Bank and will begin doing pro bono counseling.
